People are vulnerable, and given the complexities of life with increasing economies and other complicated issues in our society, almost all of us tend to bog down in life. At certain stages in life’s timeline we find ourselves confronted with the paramount questions of human existence: Who am I? What am I here for? What am I expected to do? What is my purpose?
Sometimes we find ourselves emotionally overwhelmed, physically exhausted, financially unstable and overall disconnected. This is because we need some motivation and encouragement to move forward. Finding life’s purpose and discovering the champion within makes life really meaningful. All you need is that pixie dust of spark to help you discover your real potential and all the amazing things that you’re capable of doing. A small flame can start a huge fire and similarly a tiny spark of realisation can mark the beginning of the purpose of your life.
Can you imagine travelling overseas without an aeroplane? We certainly cannot nor do we wish to. It was the Wright Brothers who made it possible for us. Orville Wright was 7 and Wilbur Wright was 11 years old when they first thought of inventing an aeroplane. Little did they know that this spark of determination in them can help create an entirely new world.

Who knew from passing messages through pigeons to actually seeing them on your screen would ever be possible? William Kennedy Laurie Dickson made it possible by inventing the first movie camera called the Kinetograph. He wasn’t the first person to work on this. Multiple failed attempts were made already. But Dickson had that spark within him. The strong motivation to invent a successful movie camera was what he aimed for. And lo! He succeeded at his attempt quite diligently.
To transform an existing and known device- Telephone into a Smartphone takes a lot of courage and self awareness. IBM engineer Frank Canova was one such pioneer, a man with true determination and just the right amount of spark that was needed to take such a huge leap of transforming a Telephone to a Smartphone. This transformation changed our outlook on technology forever.
One of the most helpful inventions of our generation is Condoms. The original condoms probably weren’t all that good for safe sex.
We used animal intestines to make condoms earlier which later changed into using vulcanised rubber. This invention has proved to be beneficial to us in many ways from preventing diseases such as HIV, birth control etc. This creation can be considered a small one but serves a great purpose.
Each one of us possesses a unique ability to transform the world. What we don’t do is introspect and make use of that spark within ourselves. Someone great once said, “I can, I will, and I must be a winner”. Be that winner, Be the change, A little spark of determination and you can transform the world.
